On board for social enterprise

Chris Cook, our Club Support and Business Development Officer, is being supported by Enterprise Learning, run by the School for Social Entrepreneurs, in partnership with Access – the Foundation for Social Investment.

This programme was promoted to partners by UK Youth with a Match Trading™ grant.

Match Trading™ is an innovation in grant-funding created by the
School for Social Entrepreneurs, to incentivise social organisations to
build more sustainable futures. Your Match Trading grant matches an
increase in your annual trading income, pound-for-pound.

Sussex Clubs for Young People are proud to have been selected for a Match Trading grant as part of @SchSocEnt @si_access programme

Chris has just returned from the first two days training at The Royal Foundation of St Katharine – “an extraordinary Oasis just minutes from the City“. CEO’s and senior managers from 20 youth charities from around the UK took part in Action Learning Sets and training focused on how to develop as social enterprises, diversifying income and thriving as charities supporting young people.

The School of Social Entrepreneurs have a range of long programmes and short courses across the UK. Just use this link to find out more: https://www.the-sse.org/our-courses/
