With the support of Simon Stanley we have developed a 2 part Introduction to Youth Work course which is informative, engaging and designed to help workers begin to think about youth work approaches and the basics around delivering sessions to young people.

This is an opportunity to explore Youth Work practice in two interactive sessions.

 We will cover :

  •          What is a Youth Worker and how has Youth Work changed??

  •          Planning and delivering activities & reviewing

  •          Roles & Boundaries within Youth Work

  •          Managing challenging behaviour

  •          Development of young people

  •          The importance of Child Protection incl. Scenarios & reporting

  •          Coping with stress as a Youth Worker

The workshops will be fun, interactive and you will have opportunity to discuss issues and learn in a positive environment.
