John lewry
Youth Services Development Officer

I have recently taken up a new post with Sussex Clubs for Young People as Youth Service Development Officer.

The aim of my role is to help continue this growth as an organisation by offering our membership out to a wider number of organisations and identifying potential partners across the county where a Youth Work provision might add value to their communities and there is a dynamic for Sussex Clubs to be commissioned in to deliver a youth work programme. Alongside this the aim is to have a strong presence in partnership meetings, forums and networking opportunities to grow the knowledge and understanding of the work Sussex Clubs for Young People does. To advocate the massive impact youth has on the lives of young people. There is also a dynamic within the role to look at possible opportunities for growing the breadth of work we do in ways that tie in to the outcomes and aims of the organisation.
