I am the Chief Executive Officer for Sussex Clubs for Young People and Chair of Directors for Crawley Community Youth Service.

I have an active involvement in the community of Crawley as Treasurer for Crawley Lions and Director for Crawley Community Youth Services.

I am committed to improving the welfare of young people, offering them places to go, grow, achieve and to be the best they can be, through our wide range of activities.

Jo bell
Operations Manager

I have been recently promoted to Operations Manager within Sussex Clubs for Young People, having previously been the Team Manager for the Horsham District.

I am a qualified youth worker overseeing a passionate team, who support the delivery of youth clubs, Purple Bus provision, detached and outreach and coming soon, the Depot youth space.

I have over 20 years of experience as a youth worker, and believe that all young people benefit from advice and support from youth services, which enables them to grow, develop and achieve their goals.

Ian MacDonald
Mid-Sussex Team Manager

I joined Sussex Clubs for Young People just over a year ago, although I have worked for the charity on and off for several years, delivering sessions from the old `Hot Chocolate Bus’ now known as the Purple Bus.

I lead a fantastic team who engage with young people at local youth clubs and whilst running detached youth sessions.

We have recently taken over `The Bentswood Hub’ in Haywards Heath, offering youth and community services right in the heart of the area.

John lewry
Youth Services Development Officer

I have recently taken up a new post with Sussex Clubs for Young People as Youth Service Development Officer.

My role is to help continue current growth by offering our membership out to a wider number of organisations, to identify potential partners across the county where a Youth Work provision might add value to communities,  and there is a dynamic for Sussex Clubs to be commissioned to deliver a youth work programme.

Alongside this, my aim is to have a strong presence in partnership meetings, forums and networking opportunities to grow the knowledge and understanding of Sussex Clubs for Young People and our service offerings.
