Sussex Clubs for Young People
Secure Funding with
BBC Children in Need

Sussex Clubs for Young People have secured funding for three years from BBC Children in Need to provide weekly youth clubs for children and young people living in low income households in the Bognor area. We will be creating safe places for young people where they can improve their emotional wellbeing and life skills.

Building on the work we are already carrying out in the Bognor area with our partners at 39 Club and Create Bognor, we hope to provide more opportunities for young people to get involved in youth clubs, enjoy a range of positive activities and be able to achieve skills to support themselves and others.

Sussex Clubs for Young People have been committed to developing a vibrant, grassroots led voluntary and community youth sector for over 80 years, which involves, empowers and meets the needs of young people in Sussex. We currently support over 150 youth clubs in Sussex and respond to the challenges of delivering meaningful youth work whilst constantly striving to provide fresh, fun and rewarding activities for the young people of Sussex.

We would like to express our thanks to BBC Children in Need for their support and for helping us to make a difference to the lives of the young people in Sussex.
