TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Membership of Sussex Clubs for Young People is subject to our Articles of Association. Our National Association is UK Youth. A relevant extract from our articles is shown below.
6.2 Membership is open to other individuals and organisations who shall include:
i) Individual clubs situated within the administrative areas of East and West Sussex and the City of Brighton and Hove affiliated to or associated with the National Association;
ii) Individuals in sympathy with the objects and aims of the National Association upon the payment of such subscription as may, from time to time, be set by the Executive Committee; and
iii) Representatives of organisations in sympathy with the objects and aims of the National Association.
6.3 Membership is open to other individuals and organisations who:
i) Apply to the charity in the form required by the directors; and
ii) Are approved by the directors.
Sussex Clubs for Young People only has one class of membership. By applying to be a Member you will be agreeing to the following:
2.1 The liability of the members is limited.
2.2 Every member of the charity promises, if the charity is dissolved while he or she is a member or within twelve months after he or she or it ceases to be a member, to contribute such sum (not exceeding £10) as may be demanded of him or her or it towards the payment of the debts and liabilities of the charity incurred before he or she or it ceases to be a member, and of the costs, charges and expenses of winding up and the adjustment of the rights of the contributions among themselves.
