TEAM MANAGER
(WESTERN AREA) 

Sussex Clubs for Young People is a leading provider of youth clubs and activities across East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove. Supporting a membership of over 140 youth clubs and organisations and directly delivering youth activities each week we have an impact on the lives of over 10,000 young people every week. 

We are looking for a Team Manager who understands what difference good quality youth provision can make in local communities and is able to develop and manage a team of youth workers, support workers and volunteers. 

Suitable qualifications and experience of youth work and / or running a youth club is essential . 

This role is full-time on a pay scale of £25,530 to £29,917 depending on experience and performance. The role will be based primarily in Bognor and Chichester areas as well as covering parts of Horsham District and Adur/Worthing in the short to medium term. 

You must understand the interactions between local authorities, the NHS and the Police in working with young people and be prepared to submit tenders or grant applications to support the building of a portfolio of projects.

The successful applicant will be able to fund raise and develop their role as well as create opportunities for young people and volunteers to develop skills in building youth clubs in their communities.

 Clean driving license and good Wi-Fi connectivity at home is required.

Kickstart Scheme

Sussex Clubs for Young People work with young people across East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, providing youth clubs, activities and training.

We are offering 6-month job placements as a Youth Support Trainee Worker via the Kickstart Scheme which will provide you with valuable work experience to take you into long term sustained employment. 

We will provide you with all the support and training you need to improve your employment prospects.
